Palm Villa

This is a private residence in the northern part of Dubai, overlooking the Persian Gulf.

On the ground floor, there are public spaces such as a living room, kitchen, and dining room; the second floor is more private – there are bedrooms and a study room. This functional division can also be read in the choice of materials: the main volume is made of stone, and the second floor is lined with a mesh structure made of wood. The windows have sliding shutters with slats perpendicular to the slats of the facade, which sets a balanced rhythm.
