The interior of a two-level apartment of 320 sq. m. is situated in a prestigious area of Moscow, next to a national park and the Moscow River.
The entire space is bright and has a background aesthetic while featuring elegant and spectacular pieces of furniture, a notable architectural element as the staircase, integrated cabinets, and well-contextualized uniquely shaped windows on the second floor.
In this project, we have expanded our understanding of living spaces by deeply engaging with natural materials, minimalist light textures, and exquisite interior items, striking a balance that avoids cold minimalism. The outcome is a restrained yet warm environment.
Iconic interior items serve as drivers and focal points within the composition. For instance, there is an Arte Veneziana partition separating the home office from the second living room; a hidden kitchen on the second floor that is discreet when closed but transforms into a vibrant artistic statement when open, and a marble dining table; colored plumbing and a beautifully crafted travertine master bathroom. The use of tinted mirrors in the shelves and cabinets enhances the visual depth of the space.
Art plays a significant role in the interior, but it is selected carefully, ensuring it remains subtle and doesn’t dominate the overall aesthetic.
