This intimate country house is located in a young pine forest in Repino — a quiet and secluded place where nature speaks in whispers. The goal was not to disrupt the site’s natural harmony, but rather to gently integrate into the landscape, as if the architecture had always belonged there.
The house, like a thin leaf, has softly landed on the site, barely disturbing the moss and needles. The horizontal lines of the roof and terrace echo the vertical rhythm of the pines, creating a sense of calm balance. Although the roof appears flat at first glance, it is actually built using an origami principle — its geometry folds and bends, mimicking natural forms and creating a complex yet organic silhouette.
The structure is made of wood — a material that emphasizes the home’s connection to its surroundings and expresses a respectful attitude toward the landscape. The strict logic of the architecture is softened by its contextual sensitivity. This house does not seek to stand out — it is part of the forest. It breathes with the pines.
